Ranae H. Heaven, CPA

With a Master of Taxation and two decades of Certified Public Accounting experience with emerging businesses, Ranae has built her CPA practice around the special needs of growing and closely-held businesses. She recognizes her practice as being accounting-based, not accounting-only, referring to her firm's broader role in helping to take businesses to their next level.

"Regardless of how a client defines prosperity, I receive great joy from the supporting role we play to help make it happen," says Ranae. From developing financial systems to managing consolidated, multi-state filings, Ranae's breadth of understanding about people and their businesses far surpasses traditional textbook training.

Ranae's focus on the prosperity of each client comes from a deeply-rooted passion for helping others succeed, understanding how they define success and using accounting tools to help further their progress along the way. She applies those same talents in both the professional and non-profit communities, most recently serving on the boards of Fresh Start, Inc. and Child Abuse Prevention Alliance.

Ranae is past president of the American Women's Society of CPAs of Georgia, Inc., is an active member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She holds a B.S.B.A. with an accounting major from the University of Alabama, Huntsville, and a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University.

Julie Nealey Who enjoys going to tax school? Julie Nealey does, and she has stayed on top of changing tax laws for decades to help her clients prosper. As an associate working with CPA Ranae Heaven, Julie looks for all allowable deductions that can be included in tax returns for individuals and businesses alike. She takes seriously the mindset of "Not paying any more in taxes than you have to."

Kim Robertson "Assisting clients to see the financial possibilities for their company" is how CPA Kim Robertson describes her contribution to clients' prosperity. Kim's experience auditing financial statements for major corporations has shaped her ability to see the big picture. Applying strong analytics to compile financial statements, perform tax forecasting and prepare taxes, Kim sees that emerging companies have confidence in their books and in their business.
